D.I.Y. or Die Matey!

Welcome to our blog! We have decided to add this blog to keep you informed of our progress in building our trailer and oven, and because I am just too excited to keep it all to myself! 

So far in our venture, we have acquired many licenses, created a website, filled out many forms, gone to pizza school, and submitted many online applications. After much red tape and hundreds of hours of creative brainstorming over a few dozen dinner meetings, we finally began construction this week and it feels so good! 

While I was in training recently with fellow Pizza Carrello member, Bob Trowe, our hilarious instructor kept referring to us as pirates. We've decided to embrace this as we construct the trailer and have therefore appropriately named it, The Great Black Booger. 

Yesterday when I got home I received the moniker Capn' Smudgeface. I'll take it, though by no means do I consider myself the captain of this here mighty ship. I do believe that honor belongs to Bob Trowe, the mastermind behind the construction. Since he has a black beard, I think he shall be referred to as Black Beard Bob. I'm somewhere between a Mate and a Cabin Boy.
